8.1 A Plugin Won't Activate
If entering your license key and clicking Activate in a plugin doesn't succeed, one of these is usually why.
"No activations left"
Your license's grant has used all of its activation slots. Check the Activations count on the Licensing list (for example, 1 / 1). To free a slot, deactivate a site you no longer use, or upgrade the tier or buy another license for more slots. (Local and development sites are slot-exempt. See Development Sites.)
authorized_url_policy_denied
The site's host is blocked by a domain rule. Either an Allowlist restricts activation to specific hosts and this site isn't listed, or the host is on the Blocklist. Review Websites → Allowlist / Blocklist and add or remove the host as needed.
License expired or invalid
Confirm the license shows Active on the Licensing page. An Expired or Inactive license won't activate. See A License Shows Expired or Inactive.
Still stuck
See License Error Codes for the full list of codes a plugin can report, or file a support ticket.
