Local

Here is an example of a local development setup.

• Laptop with at least 16GB memory
• Operating system: GNU/Linux, macOS, Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)
• Browser: Firefox, Chromium, Safari
• Editor: Visual Studio Code, Vim, Emacs
• Git GUI: Source Git

Prepare

The following software is required for the projects in the documentation.

• Git - Version control system
• Node - JavaScript runtime (version 20 and above)

Optionally, some projects or tasks may depend on:

• Bash compatible shell and POSIX (Portable Operating System Interface) commands
• Docker Engine for containerization
